Proposal: Structured Training Program in Public Speaking, Communication, and Model United Nations (MUN) Preparation

To provide students of Classes 8-12 with a structured training pathway that enhances public speaking, communication, and leadership skills, while gradually preparing them to participate successfully in advanced Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. The program is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) emphasis on developing essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Phase 1: Foundation in Public Speaking & Communication

Duration: 6 months

Structure: 24 sessions (1 session per week, 1 hour each)

Assessment: End-of-phase speaking skills evaluation

Progression Criteria: Only students who qualify in this test become eligible for Phase 2 training

Phase 2: Advanced Model United Nations (MUN) Training

Duration: 3 months

Structure: 12 sessions (1 session per week, 1 hour each)

Critical thinking and analysis of global issues
Diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership in committees
Research methodology and policy brief preparation
Public speaking in competitive, real-world simulations
Team collaboration and resolution drafting

Outcome: Formation of a trained school delegation capable of representing the institution at inter-school and national-level MUNs

4. School Representation: Formation of the institution's official MUN team post Phase 2, trained to compete in external events.
